Extra Extra Read All About It!!!

So here we are again, time has just flown by and so much has happened in our Primary classroom... this time around I asked my students about what some of their favorite things that we have done and learned about.  Here is what they had to say:

"We read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together.  It was really funny and I want us to read Charlie and the Glass Elevator next!"

"We did peaceful doves for the board and are writing about being peaceful"

"We are doing 35 days of peace and writing in our journals.  Some mornings we share our writing in circle"

"We had a lot of snow days"

"We learned about germs and making sure to catch our sneezes and clean our hands"

"We learned about Presidents.  You have to be old to be President"

"We read about living things.  We saw a body with 'juicy parts' [major organs and veins]"

"We finished reading Mr. Popper's Penguins and made penguins"

"We learned about maps"

We have done so much more in Primary, that was just a glimpse. In math we have moved on from graphing to place value and regrouping, in Religion our older students received the Sacrament of First Penance and are preparing for Holy Communion, students also finished two in class book reports AND have been making excellent strides in working in their different skills groups.  We are busy, busy, busy and having so much fun learning together!
